The Label
The Afro Nick LLC is an independent record label led by Nick Anastasakis, currently based in Los Angeles, California. The label does not operate under a 360 deal structure — any work created on a work-for-hire basis remains 100% owned by the artist.
For collaborations, terms are clearly outlined in an agreement, typically finalized after the work is completed, and apply only to the specific song or project involved. For example, if we co-write a song, publishing splits are negotiated based on each contributor's input for that track. If we invest our full effort and resources into producing a song, the master recording will belong to The Afro Nick LLC.

From Crete to LA
Nick was raised in Crete, Greece, where he founded his first indie rock band, Stray Blue. The group made history as the first and only indie rock band to tour the entire island of Crete, performing more than 50 live shows and gaining exposure through local television and radio appearances.
He later relocated to New York City, where he spent a decade performing extensively and collaborating with a wide range of talented musicians.
Now in Los Angeles, Nick has shifted his focus toward studio work, specializing in production as well as Dolby Atmos mixing and mastering.
